This Warranty Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions under which ASC-Technology LTD (“we,” “our,” “us,” or the “Company”) provides warranties for the products we supply. Customers who have purchased our products are referred to as “you” or “your.”

ASC-Technology LTD warrants that the products we supply will be fit for the intended purpose and free from manufacturing defects during the applicable warranty period.

Warranty Period

The warranty period varies depending on the product and is specified at the time of purchase. Our products may come with a 1-year, 2-year, or 3-year warranty. Please refer to your order confirmation or product page for the specific warranty period applicable to your purchase.

When Warranty Becomes Void

The warranty will be void under the following circumstances:

  1. Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications:
  • If the case, motherboard, CPU, or BIOS is replaced, tampered with, or repaired by unauthorized personnel, the warranty will be void.
  1. Third-Party Repairs:
  • If you take the product to a third party for diagnosis or repair without prior authorization from us, the warranty will be void. We will not cover any costs associated with third-party repairs.
  1. Software Issues:
  • We are not liable for the loss, damage, or corruption of any software, including free software provided by us or third-party software installed by you.
  1. Accidental Damage or Misuse:
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper installation is not covered under warranty.
  1. Consumables and Wear and Tear:
  • Consumables (e.g., ink cartridges, batteries) and general wear and tear are excluded from warranty coverage.
  1. Data Recovery:
  • We are not responsible for data recovery or backing up your data, files, or programs.
  1. Poor Packaging During Returns:
  • Damage incurred due to insufficient packaging when returning an item is not covered. We recommend retaining the original packaging for returns.

Submitting a Warranty Claim

  1. Notification:
  • Notify us of any warranty claim via email at support@asc-technology.co.uk within 7 days of discovering the defect. Include:
    • Proof of purchase (e.g., order number, date of purchase).
    • A detailed description of the alleged defect.
  1. Inspection and Resolution:
  • If the defect is covered under warranty, we will repair or replace the defective portion of the product. If a replacement is not available, we may provide a product of similar grade and quality.
  • Note: Repair or replacement does not restart the warranty period.
  1. Expenses:
  • If the defect is not covered under warranty, you will be responsible for reimbursing us for any reasonable expenses incurred during the inspection process.

Warranty Exclusions

The following are not covered under our warranty:

  • Accidental damage.
  • General wear and tear, misuse, or neglect.
  • Incorrect installation or use.
  • Overheating due to excessive dirt or dust buildup.
  • Consumables (e.g., ink cartridges, batteries).
  • Data recovery or backup services.
  • Viruses or incompatible third-party software/hardware.
  • Damage caused by poor packaging during returns.

Limitations of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from the use of our products.
  • Damage resulting from deviations from our written specifications, instructions, or industry standards.

Transfer of Warranty

The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. It cannot be assigned or transferred to another person.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Amendments to the Warranty Policy

Any changes or extensions to this Policy must be made in writing and approved by our Technical Service Department to be binding.
